"I like this product a lot but in the last year or so the price has nearly doubled. I use to be able to get a 32oz bottle at walmart or kroger for 9.99 give or take a dollar or 2 now no department store carries the original formula and the product is being price gouged all across the internet. I dont think ill be staying with this product as brand loyalty should extend to benifiting the consumer as well, not just the buisness. Thanks for some decent hair care over the years though."

"I have seen this product for years. I may have even tried it years ago. I recently found this at an outlet store and decided what the heck. I have long curly hair that has been thinning lately. Since using this, I swear my hair has gotten thicker and longer. Maybe it's my imagination, but I love it!! I'm on my second bottle and I am so happy with these results. Doesn't weigh my hair down, which is important!! I haven't tried the shampoo as I have a favorite for now. If people are on the fence about this, just get it, try it. If it's not for you, you can use it on your animals!!"

"I have naturally oily hair; if I go a single day without showering and shampooing, my hair looks visibly oily until I fully wash it. About 7-8 months ago, I picked up a bottle of Mane and Tail, since I heard online and from my father of all places that it was good for your hair. I was trying to grow my hair past a shoulderblade length. I got both shampoo and conditioner. Pros: Keeps my hair very soft. It mixes well with other conditioners (which is important, see below.) Cons: Very, very oily/waxy texture. Whenever I use this product by itself with no other conditioner, it makes my hair look incredibly oily. However, I have negated this problem by mixing it with an old conditioner of mine (specifically the Suave Professionals Sleek Conditioner)."
