A Farm-Born Idea
Mane 'n Tail began in 1970 with a simple idea on a family farm. Phil and Bonnie, passionate equestrians, wanted to create a shampoo that would help their horses achieve show-stopping manes and tails. Mixing ingredients in their own kitchen, they developed a formula that delivered incredible results.
From Horse Stall to Shower Stall
It wasn't long before people starting using the shampoo on themselves, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Word spread about the amazing, silky shine Mane 'n Tail provided, and a unique "horse-to-human" hybrid shampoo was born. What started as a solution for horses became a beloved haircare product everywhere.
A Legacy of Care
Today Mane 'n Tail remains a family business with Phil and Bonnie's son, Devon, carrying on their legacy. He continues to champion the original vision of creating high-quality products that work for everyone-whether they have hooves or heels!
