STRAIGHT ARROW PRODUCTS, INC. PRIVACY POLICY

            Straight Arrow Products, Inc. (Straight Arrow) cares about your privacy and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose information.  This Privacy Policy explains how Straight Arrow may collect, use, and/or share your personal data. By providing personal information to us or by using the Service or Services (as defined below), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

 We receive both information that is directly provided to us, such as personal information you provide when you use our services and information that is passively or automatically collected from you, such as anonymous information collected from your browser or device.  In this Privacy Policy, we refer to all of this as "Information." 

Information you provide to us.   To participate in promotions or effectively use some of our services, such as newsletter subscriptions and ordering services, we may request Information from you.  This Information may include your name, address, and email.   Unless we request it, please do not provide us with highly sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, health information, philosophical beliefs, or orientation, as Straight Arrow’s Services are not designed to use or target users based on such information.  Further, Straight Arrow does not direct its Services toward, or knowingly collect information from, individuals under the age of thirteen (13). If you feel that your child has provided personal information that you would like removed, please contact us as explained below under the “Contact Us” section.

Information passively or automatically collected from you. We may collect Information about the Services you use and how you use them.  This may be through the use of “cookies” and other digital identifiers.  A representative, non-exhaustive list of the types of automatically collected information may include the following: network or Internet protocol address and type of browser you are using (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you are using, (e.g., Microsoft Windows or Mac OS), browser settings, the web pages of the Services you have visited, location information, purchase history, information from social media and third party platforms, and the content and advertisements you have viewed or clicked on.  We only use this information as necessary to gather information about the uses of our products and enhance our Services to meet consumer needs. 

Third party collected Information. We work with companies to market our Services, distribute and deliver our products, provide our infrastructure and other systems, supply map and places information, process payments, and help us understand how people use our Services.

How We Share Information

We may provide your Information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as payment processing or offering customer support. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.

Such third parties may assist us with data storage, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, payment process, and other improvements of our Services/website features. Data Retention and Your Control over Information

We may retain your Information as long as necessary to provide our Services to you, comply with  legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.  Without waiver of the foregoing, we are able to delete your Information upon your request provided a legal obligation to maintain the Information does not apply.  To submit a request, please view our procedures under “Contact Us.”

Safeguarding your Information

Straight Arrow follows generally accepted standards to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access to your data, maintain data security and correctly use personal information.  However, as it is not possible to guarantee absolute security for any encryption or information-sharing method, our services do not request highly sensitive personal information from you or others, and we request you do not provide such information, such as your Social Security Number.

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to you in search results, sites that may include Straight Arrow products or services, or other websites linked from our Services or linking to our Services. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise Straight Arrow’s products or services and who may use cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time, and we regularly review compliance with our Privacy Policy. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page.
